Welcome to Alba Cathay Chinese SchoolA crew of BBC Alba has filmed our school on 26th January.
The documentary is to introduce the Chinese community in Scotland. As our school plays a important part in our community, not just provides education to school age kids, but also pull the community member together. Aiming to this concept, they filmed our class teaching, dance group and also the sports team.
Hopefully we can see the documentary in March. Details will be followed.
The night of 26th January was a very happy and successful night for our school. There were about 180 guests celebrated the Chinese New Year with us. Many of them were local residents.
The children's show was extremely successful. Every pupil got the chance to show their talents as well as the Chinese language ability. Here are some of the pictures.
The Alba Cathay Chinese School is holding a Chinese New Year's Party on 31st January. We are going to have a children's show, follow by a buffet style refreshments and lots of games which would be fun for all. Everyone is welcomed!
